Keyboard shortcuts come to Guide
Customize background commands and try the new screenshot description shortcut.

Guide 2.1.5 is here, and it introduces a new Shortcuts tab that lets you fire off actions without leaving the app you are currently using. The update downloads automatically in the background, so you simply restart Guide when it prompts you.
Build shortcuts that match your workflow
- Define background shortcuts using the
Ctrl + Alt + [letter]pattern and pair each one with a custom prompt. - Decide whether Guide should pop back into focus after it finishes running the action.
These shortcuts run even while another application is in front, so you can stay immersed in your task.
Try the new built-in screenshot helper
Version 2.1.5 ships with a ready-made background shortcut: Ctrl + Alt + A. Press the combo to grab a quick screenshot and have Guide describe what is on screen, all without interrupting the app you are in or bringing Guide to focus.
We would love to hear how you are putting shortcuts to use. Share your favorite combos with the team so we can keep refining the experience.
