Guide just got smarter text

We've upgraded Guide, our AI-powered Windows computer control assistant, to leverage Claude 4.5—a new AI model from Anthropic that shows over 45% higher performance on industry benchmarks. That means more successful keyboard and mouse commands, smarter reasoning, and better correction when something doesn't work.

What's New in Version 2.2.1

Guide now runs on Anthropic's Claude 4.5 AI model, significantly improving how it understands and executes your commands. This upgrade brings meaningful improvements to computer accessibility and automation:

  • More successful keyboard and mouse commands - Better accuracy in understanding what you want to do, whether you're navigating complex applications or automating repetitive tasks
  • Smarter reasoning - Improved ability to figure out the right steps to accomplish your tasks, making Guide a more capable AI assistant
  • Better error correction - When something doesn't work as expected, Guide can now better understand what went wrong and try alternative approaches to complete your request

Why This Matters for Accessibility

This AI model upgrade makes Guide more reliable as an assistive technology tool for Windows users. The improved performance means fewer failed commands and less frustration when controlling your Windows computer with natural language. Whether you're using Guide for accessibility needs or productivity automation, you'll notice the difference in how it handles complex workflows.

How to Update

Update to the latest version 2.2.1 by using Guide - it will download automatically while the app is open, and ask you to restart once the update is finished.

No manual downloads or complicated installation steps required. Just keep Guide running, and you'll be prompted when the update is ready to install.
